Job Summary: We are seeking a Sports Facilities Manager in Vigo to supervise operations, plan and lead teams, ensuring quality and efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. Personnel management, budgeting, and communication with authorities. We seek an energetic and experienced individual to assume full responsibility for managing a sports facility in Vigo. This person will oversee and direct all operations, consistently striving to deliver maximum quality and operational efficiency. Core responsibilities include planning, personnel and material management, and collaboration with other teams and entities. The candidate is expected to make decisions, resolve unforeseen issues, and maintain a clear understanding of the facility’s overall functioning. The primary objective is to ensure excellent and continuously improving services for users, creating a safe, functional, and pleasant space. Candidates who contribute ideas for process and service improvements, and who foster a positive team-working environment, will be highly valued. Teaching and maintenance departments will also be supervised to ensure effective coordination. Technical management—including equipment and facility upkeep—will constitute a key responsibility. Maintaining effective communication with senior management and authorities to comply with regulations and optimize resource utilization will be essential. Budget management and expense control skills will be fundamental. A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (INEF or CAFYD) or equivalent qualification is required. A minimum of 3 years’ demonstrable experience in sports facility management and leadership is mandatory. Familiarity with sector-specific management tools will be considered a strong asset. An intermediate level of English—both spoken and written—is required to facilitate communication in an increasingly globalized environment. We seek a proactive, organized individual with outstanding leadership and interpersonal communication skills. The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be considered an advantage.
