We are currently preparing for the opening of two properties in Menorca: Son Vell (Ciutadella) and Son Ermità / Binideufà (Ferreries), and are seeking professionals committed to excellence to join our team. **About Son Vell** Son Vell, located in an impressive setting within an extensive 180-hectare estate and just a short distance from the coast, rises from the land as an eternal symbol of Menorca’s elegance and beauty. The spacious and sophisticated rooms and suites are distributed among the original 18th-century manor house, restored traditional outbuildings, and a series of newly constructed buildings built with great care amid aromatic gardens. **About Son Ermità and Binidufà** Located in the rural heart of Menorca, these two boutique hotels embody Mediterranean serenity and traditional Menorcan architecture. Surrounded by pristine nature and offering privileged access to the island’s coastline, Son Ermità and Binidufà deliver a gastronomic experience celebrating local produce, seasonality, and proximity cuisine. **Position Description:** As a waiter/waitress at Vestige Collection, you will be the ambassador of our gastronomic experience, combining technical proficiency with deep product knowledge to create unique moments for our guests. Each service presents an opportunity to exceed expectations and contribute to an exceptional culinary experience for our guests. **What will your responsibilities be?** * Greet and welcome guests, escort them to their table, and present the menu * Take orders meticulously, advising on dishes, ingredients, preparation techniques, and recommendations * Serve food and beverages using professional techniques * Serve wine correctly: presentation, opening, decanting (if applicable), and serving at the appropriate temperature * Proactively and discreetly anticipate and attend to guests’ needs throughout their experience * Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure optimal timing, verify dish presentation, and confirm correct temperatures before service * Set up and clear tables (mise en place): table linens, cutlery, glassware, and décor according to established standards * Maintain cleanliness and order in your work area throughout service * Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service, reporting incidents and supporting all necessary areas * Assist with hotel events, private dinners, and pool setup together with the Housekeeping department **Requirements:** --------------- **What are we looking for?** * Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a waiter/waitress in quality restaurants, 4–5 star hotels, or high-end gastronomic establishments * Vocational training in restaurant service (FP) * Mastery of professional service techniques: tray handling, right/left-side service, etc. * Knowledge of wines and gastronomy: ingredients, culinary techniques, kitchen terminology, and ability to confidently explain the menu * Proficiency in point-of-sale systems * Ability to responsibly manage dietary restrictions, allergies, and intolerances * Basic familiarity with digital order management systems * Basic English * Strong communication skills to engage with guests from diverse cultures * Attention to detail and teamwork orientation * Stress management and proactivity * Adaptability to changing pace, unexpected situations, and various service formats (breakfast, lunch, dinner, events) * Availability to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs **What do we offer?** * The opportunity to join a hospitality project with soul—one that rescues heritage and creates memorable experiences * Integration into a growing professional team in 2026 * Training and growth opportunities within Vestige Collection * Full-time fixed-term intermittent contract * A collaborative and respectful work environment set in a privileged natural landscape * Location in Menorca (Son Vell and Son Ermità & Binidufà hotels) **Do you identify with this project?** If this challenge inspires you—if you share our passion for creating unique experiences for our guests—we would love to meet you.
