Define and implement new purchasing queries and reports A leading industrial-sector company seeks to hire a Purchasing Technician for its Zaragoza office to expand its Purchasing Department team. Main Responsibilities: * Management of the assigned supplier portfolio, including price negotiation, other contractual terms, and bid evaluations. * Liaison with assigned regular suppliers and various internal departments (Technical Office, Logistics, Production, Administration). * Development and management of price and cost reduction initiatives. * Analysis of BOMs and ABSs. * Monitoring and updating of price indices. * Definition and implementation of new purchasing queries and reports to advance administrative task automation. * Reporting to the Head of Purchasing. Required Knowledge and Experience: * University degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. * Languages: Advanced English (negotiation level); French and/or German language skills are valued. * IT Skills: Advanced Excel, Power BI, and standard office software proficiency. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar roles, preferably within metal-sector industrial companies. * Organized, solution-oriented individual with strong teamwork capabilities and a drive for continuous improvement. Offer: * Direct employment contract with the company and job stability. * Annual gross salary range of €27,000–€33,000, depending on experience.
