




Job Summary: A major expanding multinational is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a hotel in Marbella, responsible for facility management and team coordination. Key Highlights: 1. Eurostars Hotel Company, a hotel chain launched in 2005 with over 220 properties today—primarily catering to cultural and business travelers—is seeking professionals with strong growth and development potential due to the chain’s robust national and international expansion. **Do you want to develop your professional career in the tourism sector?** A major multinational currently undergoing expansion requires a Maintenance Department Manager for one of our hotels located in Marbella. **Key Responsibilities include:** * Ensure facilities remain fully operational. Conduct necessary tests to guarantee safe and efficient facility operation. * Monitor consumption (electricity, gas / diesel, water, energy losses, water leaks, etc.). * Monitor materials or facilities that may deteriorate due to infrequent use. * Track maintenance area management and environmental quality indicators. * Implement and monitor an improvement program to enhance facility performance and reduce energy consumption. * Coordinate and manage resolution of equipment and facility operation and conservation issues, establishing appropriate priorities in each case. * Procure departmental materials. * Manage spare parts and consumables inventory. * Coordinate landscaping maintenance. * Coordinate swimming pool maintenance. * Coordinate setup of event venues—including integration of in-house and client or regular supplier audiovisual equipment. * Supervise personnel and prepare work schedules. * Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel service operations. **Requirements:** * Vocational Training Certificate / Higher-Level Technical Module in Electricity or Electronics. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within hotels, large buildings, or large retail spaces. * Intermediate level of English. * Teamwork skills. * Customer orientation. * Orderliness and cleanliness. * Attention to detail. * Knowledge of general building plumbing, electrical installations, fire protection systems, fault detection, HVAC systems, and domestic hot water production. * Strong knowledge of legionella control and prevention is essential (facilities with spas and swimming pools). * Generalist maintenance skills (carpentry, masonry, electricity, plumbing, minor gardening tasks, etc.).
