Integration into a professional, multidisciplinary team within a stable environment. **Mimara Group is seeking a Physician for our senior residence located in the Oviedo area.** We seek a professional with a vocation for caring for elderly people, committed to the well-being of residents, and capable of working collaboratively within an assistance-oriented environment. Main Responsibilities The candidate will carry out, among others, the following duties, as well as any other duties required and related to their academic qualifications and professional competencies: * Conduct medical examinations for new residents, complete clinical records and corresponding medical certifications, and indicate lifestyle guidelines, rehabilitation needs, and treatments where applicable. * Address residents’ healthcare needs by performing medical examinations, establishing diagnoses, and prescribing appropriate treatments. * Develop preventive, assistance-based, and rehabilitative therapies based on residents’ clinical and functional diagnoses. * Inform and advise residents’ families regarding residents’ health status. * Lead and coordinate the mobilization and rehabilitation program together with the multidisciplinary team, establishing individual and group programs. * Monitor and evaluate assistance programs in coordination with the center’s team. * Provide medical attention to center staff in cases of health-related need or emergency. * In cases where the center cannot adequately attend to a resident, manage referral to hospitals or healthcare centers. * Participate in resident follow-up and supervision committees together with management, social work, psychology, and other professionals. * Plan and supervise residents’ menus and diets according to their nutritional needs. * Supervise the work of the center’s healthcare staff. * Ensure the proper sanitary condition of the center’s facilities and premises. Requirements * Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Medicine. * Prior experience in similar positions (experience in geriatrics or elderly care is desirable). * Vocation for caring for elderly people. * Ability to work collaboratively and strong communication skills.
