Job offer: Hearing and Language Teacher – Pediatric and Youth Therapy Center **Center:** Cian LPG **Location:** Alcobendas **Start date:** Immediate Position Description We are looking for a **Hearing and Language (HL) teacher** to join a **private multidisciplinary therapy center** serving **children and adolescents with special needs**. You will be part of a team composed of physiotherapists, social educators, teachers, and other professionals, working together in the child's overall development. Responsibilities * Conduct **assessments and evaluations of language, communication, and literacy skills**. * Design and implement **individualized intervention programs**, tailored to each child’s abilities, interests, and needs. * Develop activities for **oral and written language stimulation**, including comprehension, expression, articulation, voice, and speech. * Apply **augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)** strategies when necessary. * Collaborate with families and other center professionals in **educational follow-up and guidance**. * Prepare progress reports and coordinate with external services (schools, specialists, etc.) as needed. Requirements * **University degree in Teaching with specialization in Hearing and Language.** * Knowledge or experience working with individuals with: * **Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)** * **Language and communication disorders** * **Down Syndrome** * **Sensory processing disorder or learning difficulties** * Strong communication skills, empathy, and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team. Desirable qualifications * Additional training in speech therapy, neuroeducation, AAC, or learning difficulties. * Prior experience in therapeutic or specialized educational settings. * Creative ability to design engaging materials and resources.
