Join us in making access to property fairer, smarter, and more flexible. ### **About the role** We are looking for a **hands\-on, strategic CEO** with **strong experience in real estate operations and ecosystems**, capable of turning a validated concept into a scalable, investable company. This role is not for a generalist founder learning real estate on the fly. We need someone who **already understands how the real estate market works**, who speaks the language of owners, developers, investors, banks, and operators, and who can activate that network from day one. **Start Date** February 2026 **Contract Duration** Permanent ### **Responsibilities** We're looking for an exceptional Founder/CEO to bring Roomli to life, who will be responsible for: * **Owning Roomli’s strategic direction**, defining and executing the vision to make room co\-ownership a mainstream alternative to renting. * **Leading real estate operations end\-to\-end**: sourcing properties, structuring deals, coordinating with owners, developers, and operators, and launching the first homes. * **Activating your real estate network** to unlock access to properties, investors, financing partners, and strategic stakeholders. * **Driving the first commercial traction**: converting demand into signed pre\-reservations, sales, and closed deals, learning fast from real users and real assets. * **Building and leading the core team** across operations, sales, legal, product, and partners. * **Managing P\&L, unit economics, and KPIs** from day one, ensuring a solid and scalable operational model. * **Leading fundraising efforts**, engaging with real estate investors, funds, banks, and institutional partners. * **Ensuring legal and financial robustness**, including ownership structures, contracts, resale mechanisms, and compliance. * **Expanding the value proposition**, co\-creating services around renovation, management, rental, resale, and financial products. * **Being the public face of Roomli**, representing the company in the real estate ecosystem, media, and proptech/startup events. * **Reporting to Byld and strategic stakeholders**, sharing monthly progress, decisions, and milestones. ### **Who are we looking for:** * **\+8 years of experience in real estate** (mandatory), including operations, transactions, asset management, development, or investment. * Previous founder or co\-founder experience in a startup. * **Deep understanding of the Spanish real estate market**, its dynamics, regulations, and stakeholders. * **Proven network in real estate**, including property owners, developers, operators, investors, or financial institutions. * Experience leading or building **operational businesses** (startups, scale\-ups, or complex asset\-heavy models). * Strong entrepreneurial mindset: you’ve built, launched, or scaled things before. * Experience managing teams and driving cross\-functional execution. * Comfortable operating in ambiguity and early\-stage environments. * Hands\-on, execution\-driven, and accountable. * Strong communication skills, high empathy, and natural leadership. * Native Spanish and advanced English (C1\+). ### **Desirable:** * Experience in **alternative ownership models**, co\-ownership, fractional real estate, or proptech. * Background working with **real estate funds, family offices, or institutional investors**. * Knowledge of **renovation processes**, construction budgeting, permits, and timelines. * Exposure to **fintech or structured financial products** linked to real assets. ### **Benefits:** * This is a role with reduced or no salary during the first 6 months, in exchange for a meaningful equity stake as co\-founder.
