Job Summary: We are seeking Night Shift Inventory Clerks to perform physical counts, verify stock levels, report discrepancies, and assist with organization in a dynamic retail environment. This is an opportunity for stability in a dynamic retail environment.** **Responsibilities** * **Perform physical inventory counts of merchandise** in sales areas, refrigerated chambers, warehouses, and display units. * **Verify stock levels** in the inventory management system (ERP/POS). * **Identify and report discrepancies** (overages or shortages) for analysis and resolution. * **Adhere to internal control procedures** and safety standards for merchandise handling. * **Collaborate on organizing and cleaning storage areas** to facilitate inventory counting. **Competencies and Skills** * **Attention to detail** and strong concentration ability. * **Numerical aptitude** and proficiency in data handling. * **Ability to work under pressure** and meet established deadlines. * **Basic proficiency with technological tools**, such as barcode scanners, tablets, and ERP systems. * **Teamwork** and effective communication with other departments. * **Integrity and reliability** when handling sensitive information. **Requirements** * **Education:** Completed Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) or High School diploma (preferred). * **Experience:** Minimum of 6 months in inventory, warehouse control, or similar functions within supermarkets, hypermarkets, or retail environments. * **Desirable knowledge:** + Cyclical and general inventory processes. + Inventory management systems. + Use of PDA devices or terminals for digital inventory counting. * **Physical requirements:** + Ability to stand for extended periods. + Handling products of varying sizes and weights. **Working Conditions** * **Schedule:** Night shifts according to inventory planning. * **Availability:** Willingness to travel with the inventory team as required.
