We are currently seeking a Housekeeper/Cook for the Shelter Center for Minors located in Gijón. The responsibilities will be as follows: * Prepare balanced menus previously designed and approved by a nutritionist. * Be responsible for the procurement, handling, and seasoning of food, ensuring its proper service under appropriate conditions. * Prepare food, ensuring its quality and preservation, as well as maintaining cleanliness in kitchen facilities, pantries, refrigerators/freezers, cooking utensils, and dining room tableware. * Monitor HACCP procedures in the kitchen (temperatures, sample collection, expiry dates, labeling of prepared products…) * Manage raw materials, complying with established disinfection, thawing, and storage procedures. Receive orders and supervise them if necessary. * Assist with cleaning tasks in the center’s premises and provide domestic support. * Purchase and take responsibility for keys to linen closets, utensil storage, cleaning supplies, and other domestic materials. * Ensure compliance with regulations governing collective dining facilities and food handling. Offered: Temporary contract until 06/30/2026 Full-time schedule: 38.5 h/week, Monday to Friday **Profile:** * Housekeeping course or equivalent Professional Certification * Food Handler Certificate * Professional Cook qualification for collective catering or equivalent * Minimum 2 years’ experience.
