We are seeking an HSE Management Supervisor to join our team at Salares Norte. Purpose The HSE Management Supervisor is responsible for managing the implementation of integrated management systems and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations in high-altitude mining operations. This role contributes to the company’s sustainability by guaranteeing a safe working environment while adhering to international environmental and safety standards. The primary challenge of this role is to balance strict implementation of occupational health and safety standards with the dynamic and demanding nature of high-altitude mining environments. This entails effectively managing resources to ensure regulatory compliance without disrupting operations, addressing complex situations requiring detailed analysis and informed decision-making, within a context of interdepartmental collaboration. **In this position, your key responsibilities will include:** Support compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) by applying guidelines during task execution. Provide technical advisory support for HSE implementation and control as required. Oversee HSE management contracts and EDPs (Emergency Deployment Plans). Manage procurement and contracts using SAP. Lead and facilitate HSE Management reporting. Coordinate the implementation of the Integrated Management System across various company departments. Lead the development and supervision of HSE plans and procedures for operational activities. Design and manage HSE information management systems. Supervise the implementation of the Integrated Management System at the operational level. Administer the HSE management budget and present compliance KPIs. Who are we looking for? **Education:** Graduate in Risk Prevention Engineering or related fields. Completion of a diploma program in Integrated Management Systems is desirable. **Experience:** Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational health and safety roles, preferably within the mining industry. Relevant experience in managing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards is required. **Knowledge:** Mining Occupational Health and Safety regulations; Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001 – ISO 45001); risk analysis and hazard assessment; implementation of Integrated Management Systems; ICAM investigation methodology and causal tree analysis; budget administration; general office software proficiency (MS Office). **Skills:** Must have participated in HSE management system implementation; supervised correct application of mining safety regulations; conducted follow-up on occupational health and safety training program compliance; managed HSE reporting and budgeting; and handled contracts and procurement using SAP. **Position Conditions:** **Shift:** 8x6 **Work Location:** Salares Norte **Contract Type:** Indefinite-term contract **Reports To:** Occupational Health and Safety Superintendent **Department:** Occupational Health and Safety Working at Gold Fields Chile means joining a global, cutting-edge mining company that places people at its core and prioritizes a safety culture.
