We’re looking for you! **What is our mission?** To lead enterprises’ transition to the cloud, building a more secure, efficient, and sustainable digital world—helping our clients reduce their technological costs and risks. **What will be your mission as a Network Technician?** ------------------------------------------------- Reporting directly to the Network Architecture Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring network functionality and direct communication between clients’ local networks and Cloud.gal’s network. You will participate in protecting computer systems, networks, and data against attacks, unauthorized access, and potential damage. **What will be your responsibilities?** -------------------------------- Your work will include implementing security measures, monitoring systems, responding to incidents, and preventing future threats. * **Assess the client’s infrastructure** (identify their internet service provider, installed equipment, perform network scanning, take photos of the server cabinet, router connections, etc.). * **Plan with the client** the service downtime required to establish connectivity with Cloud.gal’s services. * **Install necessary network hardware** (router, switches, firewall, Wi-Fi access points, etc.). * **Advise the client** on possible improvements or changes related to network architecture (e.g., network cabling or others). * **Resolve any access issues** experienced by the client when connecting to Cloud.gal’s services. **Requirements for the Network Technician Position** ----------------------------------------------- * Higher vocational training in Systems Administration, Computer Systems and Telecommunications, or equivalent. * Minimum two years of demonstrable experience in the duties described. * Knowledge of **network infrastructure**: subnet configuration, VLANs, installation and maintenance of switches, routers, and firewalls. * Experience in **network security**: VPNs, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems. * General knowledge of **cybersecurity**: threat and vulnerability identification, as well as cloud services. * Preferred qualifications: Fortinet certification (NS4 or higher), Cisco certification (CCNA Security), or certifications from other firewall vendors (Palo Alto, Juniper, SonicWall, etc.). **What do we offer?** ------------------- Indefinite-term contract with immediate start.
