DESCRIPTION JOIN OUR TEAM! For our business unit, the Space Observation and Remote Sensing Center (COTESA), we wish to recruit a colleague to execute GIS technology projects. Who Are We? Our business unit, the Space Observation and Remote Sensing Center (COTESA), is a leader in applying advanced technologies for Earth observation and developing innovative solutions in areas such as Smart Cities, Smart Mobility, and urban planning. It leverages remote sensing, artificial intelligence, and big data to capture and analyze geospatial data, developing web and mobile applications that optimize resource management, improve urban planning, and facilitate precise market studies. Its focus on innovation and sustainability drives technological development and promotes a more efficient and sustainable future. Responsibilities: * Define and assign project team tasks. * Maintain the product backlog. * Plan work activities. * Analyze requirements. * Monitor and verify deliverables. * Prepare project documentation. * Analyze tender specifications; prepare and draft public-sector bids and proposals. * Communicate with clients; develop presentations and execute demonstrators. REQUIREMENTS TO SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION: Education: * Technical Engineering degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications. * Engineering or higher-degree programs in Computer Science or related fields. * SCRUM Manager and/or PMP certification will be valued. * Additional studies or certifications in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) will be valued. Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in the responsibilities described above. IT and Programming Languages: * Project manager with experience developing web portals and/or apps; experience with SCRUM; knowledge of usability, accessibility, SEO, web design, CMS (e.g., Drupal, WordPress); experience in the public administration sector. * Knowledge and experience in Big Data architectures and solutions. * Knowledge and experience in CMS and app development. * Knowledge of software development architectures and technologies. * Knowledge and experience using project management tools. * Knowledge and experience using analysis and design tools. Language: * English: fluency in spoken and written English (not mandatory, but considered a positive factor). Do you have something extra?
