Our motto is “I am who I want to be.” Through our NEW SERVICE of **HR consulting, personnel selection, and assessment**: We are looking for a **Junior Linux Systems Administrator and Helpdesk Technician** to join a well-established Barcelona-based company specializing in advisory services, management, and protection of industrial property—including patents, trademarks, and designs—at both national and international levels. Their **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** will include: * Administration of Debian GNU/Linux and Windows operating systems. * Network, communications, and security management. * Configuration and maintenance of firewalls, VPNs, and Active Directory. * Technical incident resolution and user support. * Reporting directly to the IT Manager and working alongside a Helpdesk colleague. **CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS:** Indefinite-term contract with probationary period. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8–19 (flexible schedule with 8 daily working hours). Ongoing training and a supportive work environment. Immediate incorporation. Salary: €23,000–€25,000 per year, depending on experience provided. **Requirements** **REQUIRED EDUCATION:** * Vocational Training Cycle (CFGM) in Microcomputer Systems and Networks. * Advanced Vocational Training Cycle (CFGS) in Network Information Systems Administration or Multiplatform Application Development. **ADDITIONAL VALUABLE EDUCATION:** * Microsoft and Linux certifications. **NECESSARY SKILLS:** * Knowledge of Debian GNU/Linux and Windows system administration. * Knowledge of Debian GNU/Linux servers, networking, firewalls, VPNs, and Active Directory. * On-site user assistance at offices—though the candidate must possess strong system administration knowledge. * Server restarts when required. * 1–2 years of relevant experience. **COMPETENCIES:** **Personal:** * Rigorous and meticulous individual. * Analytical ability and logical thinking. * Proactive attitude and orientation toward continuous improvement. * Self-control and composure under stressful situations. * Capacity for constant learning. * Communication skills with colleagues. **Linguistic:** * Spanish (required). * Catalan (valuable). * Technical English (valuable). **Digital:** * General knowledge of digital tools and environments for system management, communications, and technical documentation. * Understanding of basic cybersecurity and data protection principles. * Ability to adopt and integrate new technologies into internal work processes. * Familiarity with digital tools for collaboration, communication, and incident management. * Ability to analyze and interpret technical or operational data for decision-making. * Sensitivity toward digital transformation and process improvement.
