Job Summary: Tragsatec is seeking Agricultural or Forestry Engineers to support the containment of quarantine pests through identification, surveying, and field-based phytosanitary surveillance. Key Points: 1. Technical support in the identification and phytosanitary surveillance of pests. 2. Sample management and administrative support for information collected in the field. 3. Support to Plant Health Inspectors in pest control. **Positions Available** ---------------------- 2 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental fields, seeks to hire 2 Technical Engineers or Graduates in Engineering, Agricultural or Forestry Branch, to provide support in the quarantine pest containment plan in Santiago de Compostela. **Work Location** -------------------- * Galicia Region Address: Santiago de Compostela 100% fieldwork **Responsibilities and Tasks** ---------------------- * Fieldwork involving pest identification, surveying, sampling, and phytosanitary surveillance. * Collection, management (plant material and/or biomass), and delivery of samples to the reference laboratory. * Support in preparing reports, maintaining and administratively managing field-collected information, including GIS data entry. * Technical support to Plant Health Inspectors in quarantine pest control, management, treatment, and control/eradication activities within the Autonomous Community of Galicia. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the requirements and/or merits must be substantiated by undergoing evaluation tests and/or attaching the necessary documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire.
