Key responsibilities include: 1\. Assume responsibility for direct patient care according to the nursing care plan for assigned patients, ensuring patient safety throughout the clinical process. 2\. Make appropriate entries in the patient’s clinical record. 3\. Prepare necessary materials for each surgical procedure and assist medical staff during interventions, following protocols established for each medical\-surgical specialty. 4\. Remain vigilant for emergencies and critical situations, capable of responding appropriately under such circumstances. 5\. Demonstrate consistency and interest in patient follow-up and monitoring, informing patients about their care process and any other required matters, while respecting standards for excellent-quality clinical care. 6\. Respect and maintain appropriate relationships with patients and their families, collaborating to promote and sustain a professional and respectful environment. Also providing information and education appropriately tailored to their needs. 7\. Foster effective interdepartmental working relationships and function efficiently as a team member to facilitate achievement of departmental goals and objectives. 8\. Stay current with nursing innovations and pursue professional growth and development.
