




Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced cook to prepare cold and hot dishes, manage inventory, and maintain kitchen hygiene. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preparation of basic culinary and pastry items Education Level: HIGHER VOCATIONAL TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications: BASIC PROFESSIONAL TITLE IN COOKING AND RESTAURATION, TECHNICIAN IN COOKING AND GASTRONOMY, TECHNICIANS IN RESTAURATION SERVICES Work Experience Required: 24 months Languages: SPANISH; CATALAN Contract Type: INDEFINITE-TERM EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT Prepare cold and hot dishes for menu service, à la carte service, and banquets. Store and retrieve inventory from the kitchen warehouse. Handle raw foodstuffs, clean and cut vegetables and fruits. Prepare salads, cold dishes and desserts according to the menu. Prepare, clean and portion meat and fish cuts. Prepare and season hot dishes (soups, pasta, legumes, rice dishes, eggs, meats, fish and seafood) using various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment (boiling, steaming, grilling, baking, frying, sautéing, roasting, etc.). Prepare sauces and stocks. Prepare basic pastry items. Decorate and plate dishes for presentation and service. Operate ovens, fryers, grills and stoves. Clean and organize the kitchen and work tools. Package cooked products for transport. Strictly comply with food safety regulations and the HACCP system at all times. Clean and maintain countertops, utensils, equipment and kitchen machinery. * 24 months’ experience. Two years’ experience as a cook in restaurants (experience in menu, à la carte and banquet service). * Higher vocational training qualification in Hospitality and Tourism * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Catalan (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Competencies / Knowledge: Training in Food Safety and the HACCP system (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). Knowledge of food preservation, preparation techniques, cooking methods, presentation and service. * Indefinite-term employment contract * Full-time working hours * Gross monthly salary: 1483 * Additional information: Rotating shifts: morning shift from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., evening shift from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Within the same week, both morning and evening shifts are scheduled. Work schedule runs Monday through Sunday, with two rotating weekly days off, typically scheduled on weekdays.
