This role contributes to the business by coordinating and supervising strategic logistics and support service contracts, guaranteeing continuity of essential services for operations at Salares Norte. The primary challenge of this role is to balance operational continuity with cost optimization and adaptation to a high-altitude operating environment, while leading multidisciplinary teams and managing critical suppliers. **Key Responsibilities** * Comprehensively manage contracts for catering, camps, personnel transportation, access control, and flights. * Administer and supervise critical service contracts, ensuring technical, operational, and contractual compliance. * Ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs), safety standards, and supplier performance. * Evaluate and monitor contractor performance using management indicators, implementing continuous improvement plans. * Develop cost-optimization and efficiency strategies for operational support services. * Coordinate service planning with operational areas, ensuring operational continuity and efficiency. * Ensure regulatory, contractual, and internal compliance in service execution. * Support administrative and financial contract management, including payment status reports, invoicing, and service validation. * Implement and monitor the Integrated Management System (IMS) within the team. **Role Requirements** * University degree in Civil Engineering, Commercial Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 7 years’ experience in mining or similar industries, in operational support services management or administration of complex contracts. * Experience managing facilities contracts (catering, camps, minor infrastructure maintenance), field team supervision, and coordination with HR and Procurement departments. * Knowledge of contract management, mining safety regulations, quality control, and performance indicator analysis. * Experience or knowledge in logistics and transportation, camp management, resource optimization, and integrated management systems (ISO 45001 – ISO 14001). * English proficiency, Microsoft Office skills, and Class B driver’s license (mandatory); experience with contract management platforms desirable. **Role Information** * **Department:** Operational Support Services * **Reports to:** Manager Operational Services * **Location:** Salares Norte – Atacama Region * **Condition:** High-altitude work **Application Closing Date: 23 March 2026** Gold Fields offers a challenging learning environment to unlock people’s full potential, under an inclusive workplace culture with diverse teams and respectful environments.
