Position Summary: We are seeking an R&D Engineer to lead and manage projects in the water sector, coordinating teams, preparing documentation, and supervising facilities in Salamanca. Autonomy in resolving incidents and improving processes We are looking for a proactive individual with strong management skills to lead research and development projects focused on the water sector, based in Salamanca. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance to projects, ensuring their smooth execution and coordinating all involved collaborators. This includes preparing specifications, managing purchase orders, and communicating directly with suppliers to optimize material procurement. You will actively participate in meetings, contributing your strategic perspective. You will draft plans, reports, and all required documentation for project monitoring and dissemination. You will supervise facility operations, analyze results, and propose improvements. You will have autonomy to resolve incidents, ensuring the success of initiatives. This position offers an indefinite-term contract. A degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is required, complemented by a Master’s degree in a technical discipline. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in R\+D project management—specifically in wastewater treatment—is mandatory. Specific knowledge of digestion technologies or systems, water treatment, and biogas is highly desirable. Experience in demonstrative-scale pilot projects and operation of complex industrial facilities—including biotechnological, electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aspects—will be considered a strong asset.
