Description
We are offering a trailer driver position (C\+E) for national routes primarily connecting Madrid, Andalucía, and Barcelona. Duties include driving tauliner or tarpaulin-type vehicles as well as Duo Trailers, ensuring safe and efficient operations. You will also supervise loading and unloading performed by the client's staff or logistics center personnel, verifying that cargo is properly secured and lashed for transit.
The job involves sleeping in the cab during the week, Monday to Friday, for 4 to 5 nights, using company-owned bases or authorized parking areas. Punctuality, responsibility, and strict compliance with transport regulations are highly valued, as is the ability to calmly manage road-side incidents. Basic route planning, communication with dispatchers, and operation of the digital tachograph are also required.
This is a full-time contract, offering stable employment for experienced professional drivers seeking well-compensated work with a healthy work-life balance.
Applicants must hold a valid C\+E driving license, an up-to-date Certificate of Professional Competence (CAP), and a digital tachograph card — all mandatory documents for operating heavy vehicles in national transport. Prior experience in this sector — especially with tauliner, tarpaulin, or Duo Trailer configurations — is highly desirable, as it provides practical knowledge of cargo handling and route management. Availability to sleep in the cab during the week is essential, along with flexibility to adapt to schedules involving 4 to 5 overnight shifts from Monday to Friday on the road — demanding resilience and adaptability. Additionally, candidates should reside near the operational base to facilitate departure and return logistics, and possess basic education (e.g., primary level) to ensure comprehension of instructions and regulations. Overall, the ideal candidate must demonstrate responsibility, driving safety, and the ability to work autonomously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
