An established and growing company with its own fleet of industrial vehicles is looking to hire a **Workshop Manager** to lead the technical and operational activities of the workshop, ensuring fleet availability, safety, and proper maintenance.
Reporting directly to Management, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
* Planning, organizing, and supervising daily workshop operations, optimizing time and resources.
* Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance of the company’s fleet (light trucks and vans).
* Managing, supervising, and motivating the technical team under their supervision (approximately 8 mechanics).
* Organizing and coordinating 24-hour shifts and on-call duties for workshop personnel.
* Performing and supervising fast-track and heavy-duty mechanical repairs.
* Coordinating spare parts management and procurement, ensuring availability and stock control.
* Managing relationships with suppliers and external workshops as needed.
* Validating invoices and controlling maintenance and repair-related costs.
* Planning and monitoring MOT inspections, technical inspections, and fleet regulatory compliance.
* Ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and occupational risk prevention procedures.
* Proposing improvements in workshop processes, costs, and performance.
Requirements
* Proven experience in maintenance and repair of **industrial vehicles**.
* Prior experience managing teams of mechanics or technical staff.
* Knowledge of fast-track and heavy-duty mechanics.
* Experience in preventive maintenance planning.
* Strong organizational skills, leadership ability, and incident resolution capability.
* Technical training in automotive engineering, electromechanics, or related fields is desirable.
* Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (desirable).
