The fischer Power-Fast II FPF II PTF BC is a blue-passivated galvanized screw with full thread and TX 30 drive. The electro-galvanizing process contains no hexavalent chromium and is therefore highly environmentally friendly. The screw with its semi-circular tray head cannot sink into wood. The Power-Fast II with high-performance wax coating reduces screwdriving torque and also allows screwing close to edges without any issues. The particleboard screw exhibits significantly reduced pull-out behavior compared to other commercially available screws. Fully threaded screws are recommended for fastening thin components and in less dense wood-based materials (e.g., softwoods). The continuous thread along the entire length of the screw ensures optimal power transmission. The screw with the semi-circular head is particularly suitable for metal-to-wood connections, for example when fastening metal fittings, angle brackets, or beam shoes.
