Position Summary: We are seeking a professional to coordinate repairs, supervise personnel, and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance procedures at a renewable energy plant. Responsibility for safety, environment, reliability, and performance. #### **Work Mode** On-site #### **Department** Operations #### **Work Location** Alcázar de San Juan \- Manchasol #### **Requirements** Mandatory: Vocational Training (FP) in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering – Mechanical Specialization, or demonstrable experience. **Required Knowledge:** * Strict knowledge and application of safety procedures. * Familiarity with and strict adherence to equipment isolation procedures. * Desirable knowledge and experience across all types of production plants, such as maintenance and production, solar field, power block, and control room operator roles. * Experience working with and coordinating subcontracted companies. * Valuable knowledge in mechanical maintenance management. * Valuable knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). * Valuable knowledge of concentrated solar thermal technology. * Familiarity with implementation, continuous improvement, and regular use of standardized operation and maintenance (O\&M) procedures. Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and quality tools is valuable. **Experience:** Demonstrable experience in the operation and/or maintenance of industrial plants and in managing work teams.#### **Competencies** **Competencies:** * Conflict management, stress tolerance, teamwork, organization and planning, decision-making, goal orientation, commitment to excellence, continuous improvement orientation, and analytical problem solving. * Familiarity with implementation, continuous improvement, and regular use of standardized O\&M procedures. Focus on ensuring personnel safety, environmental protection, and plant and equipment reliability and performance. * Flexibility and ability to learn and handle technical documentation. #### **Responsibilities** Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the following responsibilities apply: * Responsible for coordinating repair campaigns in the solar field and scheduled preventive maintenance, including defining the scope of work according to plant objectives, obtaining necessary approvals for external work contracts, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion. * Supervision of maintenance personnel under direct responsibility (both in-house and subcontracted), ensuring compliance with maintenance and safety technical procedures and instructions. * On-site technical support for maintenance activities. * Acts as deputy to the Emergency Intervention Manager. Coordinates and ensures the safety of all personnel on site, including external contractors. * Responsible for implementing corporate processes within the team (e.g., Events, Shift Handovers, Energy Dispatch, etc.). * Assumes responsibility for assigned systems and components, safeguarding the health of associated processes (O\&M procedures, improvement studies, training, etc.). * Leads personnel within the team, organizing work and developing their technical capabilities. * Availability to perform on-call duties. * Preparation of reports and/or records in the work management system for completed tasks. * Coordinates and leads the maintenance team under direct responsibility to ensure tasks are carried out per the established schedule, meeting required safety and quality standards. * Manages preventive and corrective work orders in the management system—from order generation, work permit issuance, review of applicable safety protocols, signing, notification, to closure. * Executes established safety protocols, daily start-of-shift briefings, preventive work controls, safety observations, etc. * Ensures and verifies safety conditions explicitly stated in work permits and procedures. * Drafts technical maintenance instructions and delivers necessary training to personnel under direct responsibility. * Controls and maintains departmental tools and vehicles. * Quality control. Applies procedures, completes PPIs, records, etc. * KPI monitoring. * Failure analysis and resolution proposals. #### **Who Are We?** Solclef is an energy asset operator, currently operating exclusively renewable generation assets.
