Join our team as: Plant Manager (Albox) **Job Mission:** Lead comprehensive management of the plant (Geocycle/Albox), ensuring operational excellence, personnel safety, and environmental compliance. You will be responsible for maximizing Alternative Fuels (AFR) production for cement plants, ensuring profitability, human resource management, and institutional representation of the company. Key Responsibilities: Operations and Production Strategy Management * **Production Maximization:** Ensure AFR (Alternative Fuels) production capacity and stock levels to guarantee continuous supply to cement factories, meeting required quality and quantity standards. * **Efficiency and Costs:** Control budget (FINPLAN), optimize operational costs across production lines, and minimize on-site transport dwell times (logistics). * **Waste Technical Management:** Supervise waste acceptance, pre-qualification, and storage processes, ensuring proper segregation and treatment according to physical characteristics and risk assessments. * **Investments (CAPEX):** Lead definition and execution of new investment projects to improve efficiency, acting as the “internal client” and ensuring correct commissioning and legal authorization of new facilities. Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) * **Safety Culture:** Serve as the highest authority and reference point for Health & Safety, promoting a preventive culture (“Zero Accidents”), conducting inspections (VPC), and leading incident investigations. * **Regulatory Compliance and IMS:** Guarantee maintenance and enhancement of the Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, and Safety), ensuring strict compliance with current legislation and internal regulations. * **Environmental Management:** Ensure compliance with environmental authorizations, manage permits, coordinate audits, and guarantee environmental impact control across all operations. * **Risk Management:** Implement risk controls (HAZOPs, ERL), manage change in response to operational modifications, and act as Preventive Resource when required. Leadership and People Management * **Talent Development:** Lead, motivate, and train the plant team, managing resource allocation and identifying technical and safety training needs. * **Labor Relations:** Actively participate in collective bargaining agreements and manage personnel incidents, ensuring a positive working environment. * **Team Coordination:** Organize work shifts and coordinate preventive activities with contractors and external companies operating on site. Institutional Relations and Social Responsibility * **External Representation:** Serve as the company’s primary representative before official bodies, local/regional authorities, and associations, managing acquisition and renewal of operating licenses. * **Stakeholder Management:** Maintain smooth relations with neighbors, environmental groups, and suppliers, ensuring transparency and a positive corporate image. * **Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):** Organize and lead the Local Information and Monitoring Committee (CLIS) and promote educational campaigns and collaborations with the local community. Ideal Profile: Academic Qualifications * **Degree:** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Mining, or related field). * **Health & Safety:** A Master’s degree or Higher Technician qualification in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) is highly valued, given the described responsibilities as Preventive Resource and legal accountability. * **Additional Training:** Environmental Management, Waste Management, and/or MBA/Postgraduate studies in Plant Management are considered advantageous. Professional Experience * **Career Path:** Ideally **5–7 years’ experience** in continuous-process industrial environments (Chemical, Cement, Waste Management, or Oil & Gas). * **Team Management:** Demonstrable experience of at least 3 years leading multidisciplinary teams and managing shift work. * **Sector-Specific Experience:** Prior experience in **waste valorization, AFR production**, or the cement industry is highly desirable. Technical Knowledge and Hard Skills * **Regulations:** Solid knowledge of current environmental legislation (Integrated Environmental Authorizations) and industrial safety regulations. * **Management Systems:** Experience working under ISO 14001 (Environment), ISO 45001 (Safety), and ISO 9001 (Quality) standards. * **Operational Finance:** Ability to develop and monitor budgets (CAPEX/OPEX) and analyze industrial costs. * **Tools:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; ERP experience (SAP preferred) is an advantage.
