ACCIONA, within its Construction business line, requires the incorporation of an Occupational Risk Prevention Manager for the AMAZON project (El Burgo de Ebro, Zaragoza). Job Description Mission:* Support the Project Management team in all matters related to Health and Safety (H&S) management. * Lead client engagement on H&S matters for the project. * Coordinate resources (material and human) required to carry out H&S functions. Responsibilities:* Develop, implement, and maintain the Health and Safety (H&S) management system for the Project, coordinating H&S initiatives and issues, management indicators (leading and lagging indicators), and KPIs for both the company and the client, as well as ensuring achievement of corporate objectives, ISO 45001 standard requirements, and client specifications. * Collect and manage monthly project information, analyzing metrics and KPIs to support continuous improvement and ensure effectiveness of implemented action plans. Develop documentation, programs, and procedures compliant with legal and client requirements. * Conduct coordination meetings with the client and contractors to monitor the Health and Safety management system. Manage contractor performance and analyze deviations. * Actively participate in developing safety leadership programs and promoting a preventive culture. Identify best practices and improvement opportunities. * Verify on-site implementation and suitability of the Health and Safety management system, proposing corrective actions where appropriate—including closure timelines—and verifying the effectiveness of such actions. * Collaborate in investigating site incidents and non-conformities, preparing relevant reports. * Develop and implement the Training Program. * Develop and implement the Audit and Inspection Program for subcontractors. * Monitor implementation of measures required to achieve the Business’s H&S objectives. * Internal coordination with the Project Management team, Health and Safety Coordinator, and Business H&S Management. * Reporting to the client and Business H&S Management. Technical guidance and support to company employees. Candidate Requirements Requirements:* Civil/Industrial Engineer or equivalent. * Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention. * Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role. Required Experience Areas:* Design and implementation of a positive health and safety culture to reduce workplace risks and improve performance in these areas across the project. * Ability to drive change through analysis of client demand and expectations. * Knowledge and experience in constructing Data Centers or similar high-complexity, high-safety-demand environments (e.g., offshore, Oil & Gas). * Familiarity with and experience applying technological tools for Occupational Risk Prevention management. * Effective communication skills. * Advanced level of English. * Knowledge of safety standards (ISO 45001). *We are a company that values diversity as a source of talent and therefore work to foster an inclusive environment that promotes respect, belonging, and commitment—ensuring equal opportunity for all.
