Continuous learning opportunities **FPGA Engineer** ======================= **Workplace:** 28850, Torrejón de Ardoz We are looking for an **FPGA Engineer** to join a high-tech project within the Defense sector, focused on developing a **hardware simulator** within a radar environment. This simulator will enable detection of coding errors and execution of functional tests in an environment representative of the final system (communications, interfaces, timing, etc.). **Responsibilities:** * Design and development of hardware using **FPGA systems** for signal simulation. * Development of solutions using **VHDL** and **RTL design**. * Programming of **embedded software** (Microblaze, STM32, ESP32). * Use of **electronic instrumentation** (signal generators, oscilloscopes). * Handling of **RF instrumentation**. * Integration of external interfaces (I2C, SPI, Ethernet) and on-chip protocols such as **AXI**. * Use of development tools such as **Vivado** and **Vitis**. * Development in **FreeRTOS**. * Hardware debugging, analysis of **latency** and **system synchronization**. **Requirements:** * University degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related engineering fields. * **Minimum 2–3 years of experience** in a similar role. * Solid knowledge of **control electronics**. * Experience with **VHDL**, **RTL design**, and **Vivado/Vitis** tools. * Experience with **embedded software** and communication protocols. * Knowledge of **RF instrumentation** and low-level system analysis. * LabVIEW knowledge is a plus. * Strong communication skills, patience, and resilience. * English level B1 or higher. * Availability to work in a **hybrid mode**. **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with seniority. * Flexible working hours. * A dynamic and multidisciplinary work environment, with continuous learning opportunities. **We are Bertrandt.** An independent, international development services provider with extensive experience in the automotive industry.
