Job Summary: We are seeking a family therapist for the Emotional Support Service for Children, Adolescents, and Youth, focused on improving family relationships and addressing situations involving child risk and abuse. Addressing family dysfunctions and consequences of child neglect ***Psychologist*** *Baix Llobregat, Barcelona* We are looking for a family therapist for the **Baix Llobregat Emotional Support Service for Children, Adolescents, and Youth**, provided by the Infancia i Família Foundation. We seek a family therapist to join the EDAF team. This is a service addressed to both individuals and families experiencing crisis and/or distress, who may require therapeutic support and accompaniment. Family therapy and individual therapy programs for children and youth in situations of risk or within the child protection system. **Main responsibilities include:** * Strengthening the family’s capacity to successfully manage various stages of its life cycle and crises it may face. * Improving the quality of family relationships. * Addressing dysfunctions that may arise in spousal relationships, parent-child relationships, sibling relationships, and overall family dynamics. * Treating consequences of child neglect on children’s/adolescents’ health status, especially harm caused by child abuse. * Addressing personal issues of parents when these hinder, limit, or impede their parental role development and performance of caregiving functions toward their children. * Strengthening the family’s relationship with its extended family network and broader social network. **Requirements:** * Qualification: Bachelor's or Licentiate degree in Psychology. * Training in systemic approaches and trauma is valued. * Experience: Candidates must demonstrate experience working with adolescents and youth. **And what do we offer?** * Joining a group of social entities providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary support to children and youth facing social risk or potential exposure to it. * Temporary contract. * Schedule: 1 day per week per municipality, 4 hours per day. 20 hours per week of direct service. 4–8 p.m. * Immediate incorporation.
