Address the consequences of child neglect and abuse. ***Psychologist*** *Baix Llobregat, Barcelona* We are looking for a family therapist for the **Baix Llobregat Emotional Support Service for Children, Adolescents, and Youth**, run by the Infancia i Família Foundation. We seek a family therapist to join the EDAF team. This is a service addressed to both individuals and families experiencing crisis and/or distress, who may require therapeutic support and accompaniment. Family therapy and individual therapy programs for children and youth in situations of risk or within the protection system. **Main responsibilities will include:** * Strengthening the family’s capacity to satisfactorily cope with the various stages of its life cycle and the crises it may face. * Improving the quality of family relationships. * Addressing dysfunctions that may arise in spousal, parent-child, sibling, and overall nuclear family dynamics. * Treating the consequences that child neglect may have caused in the health status of children/adolescents, especially damage resulting from situations of child abuse. * Addressing personal issues of parents when these hinder, limit, or impede the development of their parental role and the performance of caregiving functions toward their children. * Strengthening the family’s relationship with its extended family network and its broader social network. **Requirements:** * Qualification: Bachelor’s or Licentiate degree in Psychology. * Training in systemic approaches and trauma is valued. * Experience: Candidates must demonstrate experience working with adolescents and youth. **And what do we offer?** * Join a group of social entities providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary support to children and youth at social risk or potentially affected by such risks. * Temporary contract. * Schedule: 1 day per week per municipality, 4 hours per day. 20 hours per week of direct service. 4–8 p.m. * Immediate incorporation.
