




Position Summary: We are seeking a Production and Continuous Improvement Manager to manage daily workshop production, optimize processes, and lead teams in the ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy sector. Direct leadership of the operator team **Production and Continuous Improvement Manager (Workshop Management)** =================================================================== We need to hire a person to perform the duties of Production and Continuous Improvement Manager for a company in the ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy sector. We are looking for a candidate with experience in sheet metal fabrication and/or machining. ### **Main Responsibilities:** * Management and coordination of **daily workshop production**, ensuring adherence to planning. * Analysis of production processes, identification of **inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities**. * Definition and implementation of **work standards and productive methods** on the shop floor. * Promotion of a **continuous improvement culture**, focused on flow, time, and resources. * **Direct leadership of the operator team**: shift scheduling, task assignment, and resource allocation. * Monitoring production progress and resolving incidents affecting deadlines or quality. * Coordination with **Technical Office, Purchasing, and Quality departments**. * Supervision of workplace order, cleanliness, and maintenance of machinery and facilities. ### **Candidate Profile:** * Experience in **productive industrial environments**, including **direct workshop management**. * Practical knowledge of **manufacturing processes** and shop-floor application of continuous improvement. * Ability to exercise **operational leadership** and make decisions in production environments. * Results-oriented profile, with a **holistic view of the production process** and strong presence on the shop floor. * Education: **Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior) or Technical Engineering degree** (Industrial Organization, Production, Mechanical Engineering or similar). Practical **workshop experience** will be especially valued. ### **What We Offer:** * **Permanent contract**, reporting directly to Management. * **Indicative salary range**: €34,000 – €45,000 gross/year, depending on experience and fit. * A project with tangible impact on **production optimization**.
