




At Farmamundi, we are seeking technical staff (Group 1) for our central office in Valencia to carry out tasks related to the identification, monitoring, justification, and evaluation of humanitarian action projects and emergency interventions implemented by Farmamundi. #### **General Job Description** **Mission:** Design, submission, monitoring, and evaluation of Humanitarian Action projects and emergency interventions within the framework of Farmamundi's annual planning. **Reports to:** Humanitarian Action Department Director, Deputy Director of Humanitarian Action, and Humanitarian Action Country Mission Coordinators. **Coordinated Positions:** Coordination tasks with headquarters staff whose functions and responsibilities complement those of this role, as well as with expatriate and local staff when working directly with local NGOs. #### **Functions and Responsibilities:** **Coordination Support:** * Support in designing Annual Operational Country Plans within the context of the overall strategic programming of the Projects Area and the institution. * Execution of the quarterly work plans of the department. * Representation before local partners, sector NGOs, local authorities, international agencies, embassies, and Spanish governmental bodies. * Support and advisory services to Farmamundi delegations. * Support in achieving Participation and Accountability (PyRdC) processes and the Participation and Accountability Management System (SIGPYR) for the Humanitarian Action area, ensuring systematization and feedback. * Support in meeting accreditation requirements for the rating granted by the European Union's Directorate-General for Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO) for the Department. **Project Management:** Identification. * Support in project design and ex-ante evaluations of local partners and intervention proposals. Formulation. * Technical analysis of identified proposals and organizations based on Farmamundi’s policies and the intervention context. * Development of projects according to parameters set by co-financing agencies. Monitoring and Evaluation. * Technical, administrative, and economic management of humanitarian action projects. Preparation of interim and final reports according to co-financer agency standards. * Financial management of projects, budgets, and financial justifications. * Support in applying the PyRdC Guidelines and SIGPYR within the department. * Support for Farmamundi Offices and partners in the field. Development of tools for improved management. * Application of technical tools for identification, formulation, and monitoring. * Assistance in developing tools to improve management practices. #### **Competencies** * **Educational:** Intermediate or higher degree, and possession of a Master's or Postgraduate qualification in Development Cooperation, training in Human Rights, Gender, and/or interculturality, and in Emergency and Humanitarian Action management. * **Technical:** Demonstrable experience in similar positions within NGOs or other institutions and/or public health. Experience in project formulation, management, and monitoring using Logical Framework and Gender Approaches. Administrative management skills. Ability to prepare technical and financial reports. Knowledge and experience in work planning. Excellent writing, analytical, synthesis, and socio-political situation analysis skills. Prior experience managing projects funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and decentralized cooperation will be valued positively. * **Communication:** Languages: fluency in spoken and written Spanish and French. A high level of English will also be valued. Language tests will be conducted if required certification is not provided. Ability to coordinate and liaise with funding institutions, local counterparts, international offices, social organizations, and Farmamundi's Central Office.
