




Job Summary: We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to participate in the design, development, certification, and industrialization of medium-voltage electrical solutions. At Ormazabal, you will find a space to design your future—and the future of the rest of the world. **JOB DESCRIPTION** Reporting directly to the R&D Director, your main responsibilities will be: **Responsibilities:** * Participate in the pre-design and design phases, defining, conceptualizing, calculating, and designing in 3D and 2D the various electrical components of medium-voltage switchgear; building development prototypes and their necessary tooling; monitoring and participating in prototype assembly by the production line or R&D Workshop; and participating in preliminary and certification testing. * Certify all parts or subassemblies supplied by vendors, defining component criticality according to the certification process; drafting specific procurement specifications for components, materials, and surface treatments of various components delivered to the industrial area for mass production. * Collaborate with the project team on product industrialization, pre-series production, field pilot testing, and final validation. * Collaborate on monitoring field and industrial pre-series manufacturing, tracking identified issues. * Define routine tests required in the industrial area and at suppliers for validating series-delivered parts. * Support other departments or areas by analyzing and providing solutions to technical problems. **REQUIREMENTS** * Required education: Degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably with specialization in Electronics & Automation / Electrical Engineering. * Minimum experience: 2–5 years in the electrical sector. * Solid knowledge of mechanics and electromagnetism; familiarity with low- and medium-voltage switchgear; proficiency in 3D/2D design tools; experience with mechanical and electric-field simulation tools. * Languages: English (advanced level B2–C1). * Candidate must demonstrate **PROACTIVITY, TEAMWORK, CUSTOMER ORIENTATION, RESULTS ORIENTATION, AND ANALYTICAL THINKING**.
