Key responsibilities include: 1\. Be responsible for direct patient care according to the nursing care plan for assigned patients, ensuring their safety throughout the care process. 2\. Make appropriate entries in the patient's medical record. 3\. Prepare necessary materials for each surgical procedure and assist the medical team during surgeries, following protocols established by each medical-surgical specialty. 4\. Remain alert to emergencies and critical situations, capable of responding appropriately under such circumstances. 5\. Demonstrate consistency and interest in patient follow-up and monitoring, informing them about how care will be provided and any other required matters, while respecting standards of excellent quality clinical care. 6\. Respect and maintain appropriate relationships with patients and their families, contributing to the promotion and maintenance of a professional and respectful environment. Providing appropriate information and education that responds adequately to their needs. 7\. Foster effective interdepartmental working relationships and work efficiently as a team member to help achieve departmental goals and objectives. 8\. Stay updated on innovations in nursing and pursue professional growth and development. Serve as a role model, assisting in the organization and supervision of nursing assistants when appropriate, and mentoring nursing students when applicable. **Requirements** -------------- Minimum 6 months of experience in the operating room.
