




Job Summary: We are seeking a driver/mechanic for international transport, responsible for vehicle maintenance and compliance with safety and quality regulations. Key Points: 1. High awareness of safety, quality and environmental protection A road transport company located in Santa Perpètua de la Moguda requires Drivers/Mechanics. For this type of contract, it is essential to be a long-term unemployed person aged 30 years or older, or an unemployed person aged 45 years or older. The selected candidate will carry out international transport tasks. \- Drive company vehicles, complying with company policies and regulations as stipulated in the driver’s manual. \- Maintain the assigned truck in good condition, particularly regarding cabin cleanliness and order. \- Correct use of tachograph discs and tachographs. \- Report any incidents occurring during service to the direct supervisor. \- Comply with current legislation, adhere to the BBS programme and internal company regulations. \- Follow established procedures. \- Care for equipment by performing appropriate inspections and reporting any deficiencies identified so they can be repaired. \- Carry out administrative tasks requested concerning documentation required for the service to be performed, including both personal and vehicle-related documentation. \- Participate in the SHEQSec and CSR programmes. Promote among all our partners and collaborators the set of best practices required by our policies. \- Safety: plan routes, respecting working and rest times to prevent accidents. Notify supervisors of maintenance requirements and defects in units to avoid breakdowns and accidents. \- Use PPE appropriately and request new PPE if items are defective or require replacement. \- Health: maintain appropriate working postures, adopt rational driving practices during mission and itinerant trips, and respect working and rest times to prevent occupational accidents. \- Environment: dispose of generated waste in the appropriate container; use water and electricity rationally; avoid product spillage during loading and unloading. \- Quality: contribute to the quality programme, especially regarding customer service, qualified suppliers and transport documentation; avoid incidents that could damage the image and quality of the service provided. \- Security: do not open facility doors to individuals who cannot properly identify themselves; safeguard sensitive information in your possession; follow the security plan instructions to prevent criminal acts against persons, company property and transported goods. \- CSR: collaborate and promote, wherever possible, equal opportunities among people of different genders, beliefs, etc.; do not use your position within the company for unlawful purposes such as corruption, bribery, theft of goods, etc. * Experience: 2 years. Experience in transporting dangerous goods and/or foodstuffs, both nationally and internationally. * Compulsory Secondary Education Certificate * Catalan (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Competencies / knowledge: Driving licence for rigid or articulated vehicles. Licence C1\+E. ADR certification for dangerous goods classes 2, 3 and/or 9 (tank vehicles). Valid certificate. ESO qualification. High level of awareness regarding safety, quality and environmental issues. Knowledge of foreign languages—e.g., English—is desirable. Stress tolerance. Proactive service orientation.
