We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Stress and Strain Engineer to join our dynamic team for an exciting wind energy project. **Contract Duration:** Initial 6 months (with potential for extension) **Job Summary:** We are looking for a highly motivated Structural Calculation Engineer with a strong focus on stress and strain analysis to contribute to a significant wind energy project. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of structural mechanics, extensive experience with finite element analysis (FEA) software, and a proven track record in the wind sector. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem\-solving, and the ability to work effectively within a project team. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform comprehensive stress and strain analysis on wind turbine structures, ensuring structural integrity under various operational and environmental loads. * Develop, validate, and utilize advanced finite element models using ANSYS software for detailed structural simulations. * Conduct thorough verification of tower internals, including design considerations for transport and handling conditions, to prevent damage and ensure safe execution. * Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including but not limited to Eurocode 3 (EC3\) and applicable safety standards (e.g., OSHA if relevant to specific project phases or locations). * Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, reports, and calculations related to structural analysis and design. * Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery. * Identify potential design issues and propose effective solutions to mitigate risks. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** * **Education:** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field. * **Experience:** A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in structural analysis, with a specific focus on stress and strain calculations. * **Wind Sector Experience:** Proven experience working on wind energy projects or in a similar demanding engineering field. * **Software Proficiency:** Extensive hands\-on experience with ANSYS for finite element analysis is essential. * **Standards Knowledge:** Strong understanding and practical application of structural engineering codes, particularly Eurocode 3 (EC3\). * **Language Skills:** Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required for technical communication and documentation. * **Analytical Skills:** Excellent analytical and problem\-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. * **Technical Documentation:** Proven ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate technical reports and documentation. **Preferred Skills:** * Experience with other FEA software packages. * Familiarity with other relevant international standards and codes. * Knowledge of wind turbine component design and manufacturing processes. * Experience with structural health monitoring techniques. * Proficiency in Spanish would be an advantage. **What We Offer:** * An opportunity to work on cutting\-edge wind energy projects. * A collaborative and dynamic work environment. * Competitive remuneration package. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. **Join Eosol Group and be part of the renewable energy revolution!**
