Online ELE Teacher – Freelance or Contract-Based

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ELE (Spanish as a Foreign Language) teacher with expertise in teaching Spanish to adults, fluency in German, and a focus on communicative and interactive methodology. Key Highlights: 1. Spanish classes using communicative, interactive, and dynamic methodology 2. Creation of modern and engaging teaching materials 3. Use of digital whiteboards and interactive resources We seek an ELE teacher with experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language to adults and fluent in German. Employment may be either contractual (starting at 4 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing hours if performance is satisfactory—up to half-time), or freelance. Scheduling will be based on client demand. For contracted positions: salary follows the applicable collective bargaining agreement. For freelancers: €22/hour. Requirements: - Fluent German (mandatory) - Native Spanish speaker or C2 level in Spanish - Degree in Hispanic Philology or equivalent (e.g., Spanish Language and Literature, Translation and Interpreting, Journalism) - Pedagogical training for adult education (ELE, TOEFL, DAF, or similar) - Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience with adults in a language center or academy - Proficiency in delivering lessons using communicative, interactive, and dynamic methodology; ability to create fun, interactive, and modern teaching materials. Frontal lecture-style teaching and reliance on a fixed textbook are not permitted. Proficiency in using digital whiteboards, interactive games, and all necessary digital resources for high-quality instruction is required.
