We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Management team based at Salares Norte. Purpose This role is responsible for coordinating and executing preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and systems at the processing plant, ensuring their proper operation and operational continuity. It involves resolving complex mechanical issues and leading field teams, thereby contributing to the effective performance of mineral extraction and processing operations. The primary challenge will be managing maintenance of critical equipment under high-altitude working conditions, ensuring safety and operational efficiency. The role requires balancing adherence to standard procedures with the need to resolve unplanned issues—adjusting resources and timelines within a high-pressure operational environment. **In this position, your key responsibilities will include:** Executing preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance of equipment. Diagnosing failures in components and proposing solutions. Verifying the condition of the work area prior to commencing tasks. Reporting completed work and recording activities in SAP. Disassembling, assembling, and testing mechanical components. Coordinating and supervising contractor work during plant shutdowns. Supporting SIG compliance by applying guidelines during task execution. Participating in failure analysis using RCA techniques. Leading field work teams for preventive and corrective maintenance. Ensuring quality of both in-house and contractor work. Who are we looking for? **Education:** Graduate of a Higher Technical Program in Mechanical Maintenance or a related technical discipline. Specialization in Industrial Plant Maintenance is desirable. **Experience:** Minimum 8 years of mechanical maintenance experience in the mining or materials processing industry.
