Job Summary: We are seeking a Civil/Construction Engineer to supervise pond raising works, ensuring compliance with drawings, safety and quality standards, and coordinating teams. Key Highlights: 1. We are looking for someone like you to join our **\#RumboSacyr** and help us continue improving people's lives. **Job Functions and Responsibilities:** * **Supervise** the execution of civil works for sludge pond raising, ensuring compliance with drawings and technical specifications. * **Coordinate and verify** on-site work performed by contractors and subcontractors. * Ensure compliance with occupational **safety and health standards** at the worksite. * Prepare **daily progress reports** and communicate potential issues or delays to the project manager. * Monitor and record the use of **materials and equipment** to prevent cost overruns and waste. * Ensure the project meets required **quality standards** and established deadlines. * **Coordinate** necessary quality inspections and tests during construction. * **Supervise** compliance with applicable environmental regulations regarding material and waste management on the project. * Guarantee compliance with applicable project **safety and environmental regulations**. * Preparation of **progress and quality control reports**. **We seek a candidate with the following requirements and competencies:** * Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field. * English level B2/C1. * Experience in pond raising works, earthworks, waterproofing, and water-retaining structures. * Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations applicable to this type of construction. * Proficiency in construction planning and management software (MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.). * Leadership and team management capability. * Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems. * Excellent management and communication skills. * Availability to work at the project location and during extended hours as required by project progress. **What We Offer:** * Personal and professional development through continuous training programs, internal and international mobility opportunities, volunteering, and healthy lifestyle habits. * The opportunity to be part of a dynamic work environment guided by three core principles: collaborative intelligence, excellence, and comprehensive social responsibility.
