Precision manual work and teamwork First-class metal carpenter position based in Avilés, focused on manufacturing and assembling metal structures for industrial and construction projects. In the workshop, the candidate will create, modularize, and assemble metal components following detailed blueprints, using machinery such as radial drills, drilling machines, bending machines, and shearing machines. Quality control of each component and verification of dimensions and tolerances are also required. Daily tasks include preparing materials, organizing the workspace, and executing assemblies to build complete structures. Solid knowledge of metal carpentry and welding is required, along with constant attention to measurements and alignments. Compliance with safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, involving coordination among team members to meet deadlines. Responsibility, organization, and practical problem-solving ability are highly valued. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the metallurgical sector who enjoys precision manual work in a well-equipped workshop with a stable schedule. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing and assembling metal structures in a workshop setting is required. The ability to interpret technical fabrication drawings and hands-on experience operating metal carpentry machinery and tools—including radial drills, drilling machines, bending machines, and shearing machines—is essential. Welding knowledge and a valid Metal Professional Card (TPM) are mandatory. Prior experience in manufacturing industrial or modular structures is considered a strong advantage.
