Plant Operations Supervisor

Job Summary: Coordinate and supervise plant operations, inter-departmental communication, and incident management to ensure productive continuity in an industrial plant. Key Highlights: 1. Coordination of operational activities between shifts and key areas. 2. Incident and downtime management in collaboration with Maintenance. 3. Leadership and alignment with company values. ### **Responsibilities** * Coordinate operations across different shifts and ensure effective communication among departments (Maintenance, Mine, Safety, etc.). * Participate in the daily plant meeting and convey data, incidents, and production plans to shift supervisors. * Coordinate incidents and downtimes with Maintenance to ensure operational continuity. * Ensure water and mineral availability by supervising process rings, pumping systems, and water quality. * Manage external contractors (e.g., loaders, cleaning services) and validate work certifications and consumptions. * Coordinate tasks with the pulp plant and maintenance of mobile machinery. * Control work permits and consumption of reagents and materials, reporting to Planning and Continuous Improvement. ### **Requirements** * Chemical, Mining, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering degree. * Experience: 2 years in a similar position or 3 years as a shift supervisor in industrial plants. * Knowledge of mineral concentrate plant processes. * Experience in lean manufacturing, cost control, and contract management. * Proficiency in Office applications and corporate software. * Leadership capability and alignment with company values.
