We are seeking an Oenologist to lead the coordination and planning of wine production, supervising the entire process from winemaking through bottling and quality control.

**Company Introduction**
Our client, a business group in the wine sector with a strong national brand positioning and presence in over 40 countries, is looking to hire an OENOLOGIST to lead the coordination and planning of its wine production, as part of its development and growth strategy.
**Position Mission**
Your mission will be to supervise and plan the entire wine production process, monitor and track its progress and evolution, and manage production activities in accordance with protocols established by the Oenology Department, ensuring the facility operates correctly.
**Functions and Responsibilities**
* **Oenological Production Management:** Planning, organization, and supervision of wine-making, storage, and bottling processes, including coordination with production teams and the harvest campaign.
* **Quality Control and Regulatory Compliance:** Verification of quality standards, preparation of tasting reports, and management of oenological traceability. Compliance with legal and administrative regulations (winery logbook, regulatory councils, capacity records), as well as PRL, quality, and environmental policies.
* **Team and Resource Management:** Analysis of staffing needs, leadership and coordination of work teams, ensuring operational efficiency.
* **Technical and Facility Management:** Supervision of preventive and corrective maintenance, investment analysis, and budget monitoring for the facility.
* **Product Management and Development:** Oversight of oenological products and participation in the development of new projects and products.
* **Interdepartmental Coordination and Commercial Support:** Collaboration with viticulture on vineyard selection and support to the commercial department in customer service, tastings, and commercial activities.

**Education and Technical Competencies:**
* Bachelor’s Degree in Oenology, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Biology, Chemistry or related field.
* Solid knowledge of traceability (mandatory requirement).
* A Master’s Degree in Oenology and Viticulture is considered a strong asset.
* Knowledge of IFS and BRC quality standards.
