Warehouse Technician

Company
Description
The position involves comprehensive technical management of an industrial or automotive spare parts warehouse, ensuring traceability and precise stock control. Key responsibilities include receiving and conducting technical inspections of all incoming materials, which entails verifying delivery notes and performing thorough cross-checks of OEM codes and part numbers to ensure compliance with specifications. This phase includes visual quality control and the use of measuring instruments such as calipers to validate components. Once received, parts must be strategically organized and stored according to criteria including rotation, volume, and type—e.g., electrical components or hydraulic systems—to optimize space and operational efficiency. Daily management is carried out via ERP or WMS systems, using PDAs for real-time recording of all stock movements, execution of cyclic inventories, and proactive communication of stock shortages to the procurement department. Additionally, the role requires interpretation of bills of materials and technical exploded diagrams to prepare spare parts kits for internal workshops or outbound shipment. Operations involve material handling using equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks, always maintaining an orderly environment under methodologies like 5S. The ultimate objective is to support the internal supply chain by ensuring material availability and accuracy across all logistical processes. This position offers an annual gross remuneration of approximately €26,000. Working hours are organized in rotating shifts covering the morning shift (07:00–15:00) and the afternoon shift (15:00–23:00), requiring schedule flexibility from the candidate. The work environment centers on a technical warehouse where organizational and safety methodologies are applied. A Medium-Level Vocational Training (FP) or equivalent qualification in fields such as Electromechanics, Mechanical Maintenance, Automotive Engineering, or Logistics is required. A valid forklift operator’s license is mandatory, along with a minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in similar environments—for example, spare parts warehouses, industrial supply depots, or maintenance workshops. Technical knowledge must include reading exploded diagrams and technical drawings, handling measuring tools such as calipers, and proficiency in SGA/ERP systems and Excel. A meticulous, organized profile with the ability to support internal customers is highly valued.
