This is high\-impact engineering – ensuring safety, quality, and reliability in critical rail infrastructure. **You’ll work alongside people who show up with ownership, passion, and dedication \- because they know what’s at stake: the journey home.** **Your role, your impact** * Define and deploy the Program Verification \& Validation strategy and plan * Lead verification, integration and test activities across software, product and system levels * Drive the transition from manual to automated testing (Cucumber, JMeter, Postman, TestComplete) * Coordinate cross\-functional teams (Security Signalling, Product Architecture, Development Centers) * Manage configuration, change control and requirement traceability * Oversee test execution, reporting, risks and issue management * Define and follow up test environments, test benches and analysis tools * Represent Alstom towards customers, providing visibility on V\&V progress and risks * Lead the V\&V team and manage subcontractors and work packages * Ensure independence between verification and design activities **You’ll work with sharp, committed teams across engineering, system, and security domains \- solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility.** **What you bring** * Experience in verification \& validation, testing, integration or system engineering * Strong knowledge of test automation strategies and tools (e.g. Cucumber, JMeter, Postman) * Understanding of Agile, CI/CD environments and software development lifecycle * Knowledge of integrated systems (CCTV, PA, PIS, communications, control centers) * Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools for requirements and test management * Engineering background with analytical and problem\-solving skills * Fluency in English and Spanish (French is a plus) * Leadership mindset, autonomy and strong communication skills * Experience in regulated industries (railway signalling, aerospace, defence, nuclear) is a plus **How success is measured** * Delivery Quality Indicator (DQI) * Coverage Progress Indicator (CPI) * Defect Non\-Detection Rate (DNDR) * Contribution to root cause analysis and continuous improvement * Team performance and delivery reliability **Alstom, a great place to grow** * Enjoy stability, challenges and a long\-term career free from boring daily routines * Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues * Contribute to innovative projects * Utilise our cooperative working environment * Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries * Benefit from our investment in your development, through award\-winning learning * Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage **Here, progress isn’t always easy \- the scale is massive, the tasks are complex \- but the impact is real.
