Senior FullStack developer (longterm position)

**We are looking for a skilled Senior FullStack Developer who is ready to take on a Team Lead position soon and join an exciting and complex project.** **Description:** An AI\-powered platform for managing users, roles, and permissions. It handles identity verification (KYC/KYB), a rewards/points system, and connects with CRM, accounting, and card\-issuing tools. It's genuinely complex \- not just a simple database app. **English Proficiency:** Upper\-Intermediate / B2\+ (client\-facing communication required) **Team:** Project Manager, Product Designer, 2 FullStack developers, Support Engineer. **Expected Working Hours:** Full\-time, 40 hours/week. **Location:** Remote, Europe only. **Preference for Western Europe** (occasional on\-site visits may be required); candidates from Eastern Europe will also be considered. **Engagement Duration:** 6–12\+ months (long\-term). **Technology Stack:** * Next.js 15 (App Router) \+ TypeScript, tRPC * PostgreSQL \+ pgvector via Drizzle ORM, Zod * NextAuth.js \+ Keycloak (OIDC/OAuth2\) * Tailwind \+ shadcn/ui * Docker, Azure Container Apps, Terragrunt \+ GitHub Actions **Skills:** * Schema/metadata\-driven system design (this project uses per\-role schema overlays across 11 distinct roles, not off\-the\-shelf RBAC). * JSONB\-based PostgreSQL modeling. * Strong code review instincts around authorization/access control. * Integrating multiple third\-party APIs with graceful handling of partial failures. * DevOps\-adjacent comfort (Docker, IaC, CI/CD, Azure). **Responsibilities:** * Own architectural decisions for a large, actively evolving codebase in a compliance\- and finance\-sensitive domain (KYC/KYB, points/rewards economy, card issuance). * Extend the generic\-entity/schema system without regressions. * Lead integration work with external providers (SmartSearch, Salesforce, Xero, Pannovate, SendGrid). * Review code with a security\-first eye, particularly on permission/access\-control gaps. * Maintain the project's Memory Bank and feature\-level documentation practices. * Participate in on\-call/production support. * As the role matures, mentor other engineers and set technical guardrails for non\-engineering contributors working directly in the codebase via AI tools.
