We are looking for a seasoned professional for the role of **Data Analytics Project Manager**, based in our headquarters in Madrid, reporting to Data Analytics Delivery Manager Europe. The scope will be European and the new team member will be part of the European ITS Application team. As a key member of our central Data Team, you will serve as the primary liaison between data and our core business units. This role will be vital to lead and coordinate strategic projects and will provide the candidate with many opportunities to collaborate with key stakeholders and shape the way we use data across the organization. Occasionally, it will be required to participate in other projects or applications to provide technical assistance to the different teams. **Key responsibilities:** * As a Project Manager, your role is to ensure that projects are delivered end to end. You will own all activities throughout the data program lifecycle to ensure the success of the BI portfolio. * Drive and facilitate projects and communicate proactively with all stakeholders and teams to share insights, improve collaboration, ensure knowledge sharing, and manage change. * Gather requirements from business users, register properly and participate in the prioritization according critically, resources and strategy. * Interview end\-users to determine the need for data, reporting, analysis, and data quality. * Work with Product Owner(s) to shape the end\-to\-end product strategy and determine business value. * Plans project scope and establish measurable goals. Establishes project timelines and manages the project, including escalations, to complete the project on schedule and within budget. Organizes the project kickoff and validation workshops. * Define, implement, and track performance metrics once solution enters production. * Develop a deep understanding of technical solutions developed, synthesize complex analytics\-derived insights into easy to understand, actionable recommendations that business users can easily extract and execute on. * Provide established guidelines, standards, methodologies, and conventions. * Your goal will be to improve our products and business decisions by maximizing the value of our data strategy. Job requirements **Background:** * Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Science, or a related field (master’s degree preferred). * At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role, working as a BI \& Analytics project or program manager. * Fluent English. * Solid experience working with Agile methodologies (including Scrum) as well as traditional waterfall environments. Formal certifications are a plus. * Strong background in data visualization, ideally with tools such as Tableau or Power BI. * Hands\-on experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases. **Required skills:** * Good understanding of data mesh concepts, data governance, and BI \& Analytics management. * Experience with Azure Databricks for analytics workflows or similar data platforms is highly valued. * Exposure to advanced analytics and generative AI solutions is considered a strong plus. * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to approach problems in a structured and insightful way. * Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
