**Description:** ---------------- We are seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Technician to carry out duties in Marchamalo, Guadalajara, within the company's own Prevention Service, a well-established firm in the food industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and monitoring the company’s preventive activities, closely collaborating with various departments and work areas to ensure compliance with current Occupational Health and Safety regulations. Their responsibilities will focus on evaluating and controlling occupational risks, planning preventive measures, investigating accidents, coordinating business activities, and promoting a preventive culture within the organization. **Main Responsibilities** * Experience in conducting risk assessments and planning preventive activities, as well as investigating accidents and incidents and proposing corrective measures. * Prior experience in industrial environments, factories, or production plants—particularly in the food sector—will be valued. * Participation in drafting, reviewing, and implementing safety and health procedures, instructions, and protocols. * Monitoring and oversight of the use, suitability, and management of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE). * Participation in planning and delivering information and training activities for workers on occupational risk prevention. * Participation in Safety and Health Committee meetings, providing technical advice and information on preventive matters. * Promotion of a preventive culture and raising worker awareness regarding the importance of safety and health in the workplace. * Support in emergency management, drills, and self-protection plans. * Proficiency in office software and preventive management applications. **Working Conditions** * Joining a well-established company in the food industry located in Guadalajara. * Flexible compensation package, including incentives and a meal card. * Social benefits and access to health insurance. * Intensive working hours during summer. * Professional development opportunities within the Occupational Health and Safety field. **Requirements:** --------------- * University undergraduate degree. * Master’s degree or official qualification authorizing the candidate to perform duties as a Senior Occupational Health and Safety Technician, covering the preventive specialties of Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology. Minimum three years’ experience in similar roles, preferably gained in industrial environments or production plants. * Knowledge of and familiarity with current Occupational Health and Safety legislation. * Knowledge and experience in Coordination of Business Activities (CBA). * A responsible, mature, proactive, dynamic individual with analytical ability and a commitment to continuous improvement. * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally across different departments and organizational levels.
