We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in designing power electronics products for renewable energy projects, to join our team in San Fernando de Henares, Madrid, in a hybrid work mode. ?? What will be your mission? Lead mechanical design of power electronics products for mass production, ensuring their technical and functional feasibility. ?? What do we offer? Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: * Developing conceptual and detailed mechanical designs according to requirements * Creating and modifying technical specifications and bills of materials * Designing and modifying 3D parts and assemblies in CAD, including sheet metal components * Generating 2D drawings and converting STEP and CATIA V5 files * Uploading and reviewing technical documentation in PLM * Participating in technical meetings and supporting suppliers and manufacturing plants * Inspecting prototypes and collaborating with internal and external teams ?? This role is for you if you have: * A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. * Over 5 years’ experience in mechanical design and drafting of photovoltaic inverters or power converters. * Experience in product design for mass production. * Proficiency in Catia V5 and PLM Windchill. * Knowledge of PTC Creo. * English language proficiency at B2 level. * In-depth knowledge of: * Metallic materials and international standards * Manufacturing and forming technologies, especially cold stamping, sheet metal forming, welding, chip removal, and CNC machining * Fasteners, surface treatments, coatings, and IP protection * Sheet metal design, fits, tolerances, and cost reduction * Technical drawing and international standards * Production and manufacturing systems **Experience:** 5 years in this role
