




Position Summary: We are seeking a CPD Infrastructure Technician with experience in system infrastructure to perform maintenance, support, and equipment management tasks in a data center. Cabling and Equipment Maintenance and Management In this search for new professionals, we aim to fill a vacancy for a **CPD Infrastructure Technician**, working for a client in the technology development sector (to cover a 2-month absence). We are looking for you—someone with **experience in System Infrastructure**, seeking a new opportunity to develop professionally. **What will you do on a daily basis?** * Physical reboot of equipment and/or servers. * Hardware replacement (disks, tapes, memory, CPUs, etc.). * Serve as “hands and eyes” for remote engineers and manage first-level incidents. * Maintain cabling, labeling, and patching of communication equipment. * Install structured cabling (UTP cable and fiber) in raised floors, ceilings (suspended grid), and cable trays. * Rack/unrack communication equipment. * Use Fluke-type devices to verify circuits and connectivity. * Execute basic configurations upon detailed written request. * Manage stock and inventory of components and hardware. * Escort authorized personnel within the data center. * Manage and update CPD documentation (customer connection diagrams, configuration adjustments, etc.). * Manage receipt and dispatch of equipment and materials at the CPD. * Ensure compliance with defined CPD security policies. The **workplace is in Madrid**, on-site, Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00 (1 hour for lunch). **Minimum Requirements:** * Vocational Training (FP) in Telecommunications Systems or equivalent. * Intermediate level of English (capable of oral and written communication). * Familiarity with ticketing tools. * Experience working in CPDs, technical rooms, and/or telecommunications rooms is highly valued. * Fieldwork experience, remote hands support, and first-level IT incident management. * Experience with rack cabinets, cable dressing, equipment patching, and connecting network equipment (routers, switches, patch panels, servers, etc.). * Proficiency in using cable certification equipment (e.g., Fluke). * Methodical, customer/service-oriented, proactive, and dynamic individual.
