understood as a building. For that building to stand and function according to its intended purpose, and beyond its aesthetics or style, it must respond to certain laws of physics.\n\nIn this laboratory, we will make a possible synthesis of the different rhythmic forces whose balance largely determines the solidity and elasticity of a rhythmic ensemble with multiple simultaneous parts.\nFrom analyzing diverse musical styles emerges a categorization of the various rhythmic languages found across all music. We will define, name and learn to identify these languages and the rhythmic forces they express, turning them into useful \"materials\" when composing, directing and improvising within rhythmic ensembles.\n\nThis approach will enable us to create music outside traditional or pre-established patterns, while maintaining full awareness of each instrument's role within the ensemble, ensuring our contribution—as directors, performers, composers or improvisers—is constructive.\n\nSome of the topics that will be covered and practiced during the workshop include:\n\n* Definition of the main rhythmic forces\n* Analysis and definition of the primary rhythmic languages\n* Linking these languages to the forces they express\n* Composition and improvisation practices using various rhythmic
