Water Distribution System Operators

Description

We are seeking personnel for water distribution network monitoring in Gandía. The main task involves inspecting the network to detect possible leaks by analyzing flow rates and unusually high consumption. Notifications regarding leaks, unusual noises, or water in manholes will also be addressed, using equipment such as geophones and correlators. Occasional night work will be carried out, and work reports will be completed via a mobile application, along with maintenance of flow and pressure measurement equipment. A full-time temporary contract is offered, with employment conditions governed by the National Collective Agreement for the Integrated Water Cycle. Candidates must hold a medium- or higher-level vocational qualification in Energy and Water, or have at least two years’ equivalent experience in this role. Experience operating electroacoustic equipment, prior leak detection experience, and basic proficiency with mobile devices and computers will be valued. At least six months’ experience in the water sector or plumbing is required, as well as availability, ability to resolve unexpected issues, and commitment to service delivery. A valid driver’s license type B is mandatory; proximity of residence to the workplace in Gandía will be considered favorably. **Experience:** Minimum 6 months **Educational level:** Secondary school graduate or equivalent **Driving license(s):** B
