Manage relationships with customers and external inspectors **Job Summary:** As a **Quality Engineer (QA Engineer)**, you will support the development, implementation, and execution of quality control programs and procedures. This role involves translating customer specifications and industry standards into product and process criteria, as well as creating control plans to meet such requirements. You will also address daily quality-related issues in production—both at the manufacturing plant and at customer and supplier facilities. **Your Responsibilities:** * Coordinate with Production to plan and execute incoming inspections and in-process controls * Manage relationships with customers or external inspectors * Participate in quality testing and audits of external suppliers * Participate in Continuous Improvement events (CIP – Continuous Improvement Process) * Monitor KPIs for the product portfolio and drive effective corrective actions based on root cause analysis to address deviations from agreed objectives * Manage customer inspections with on-site presence (witness inspections) * Maintain and analyze data to provide information or identify issues regarding process status or product quality for management and stakeholders * Raise awareness within the leadership team about identified or developed opportunities and how to implement them * Collaborate with your own department or other company departments to clarify or resolve technical issues related to quality control activities * Deliver all required documentation to the customer per the QAP, coordinating with internal departments and closing all document-related queries * Perform other tasks as assigned according to job requirements **Your Profile:** * Experience in engineering and in using Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies * Experience in a quality control department * Knowledge of product and process flow * Strong organizational skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * University degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) in a relevant field and/or 0–2 years of relevant experience **What We Offer:** * A comprehensive benefits package along with a competitive salary Flowserve is a global leader in manufacturing and after-sales service provision for integrated flow control systems.
