**What will your mission be?**
As a nurse, you will be responsible for providing personalized and continuous healthcare to residents, ensuring proper treatment administration and clinical follow-up for each individual. Your role is key within the multidisciplinary team, coordinating patient care and promoting health education among professionals, residents, and families.
**Responsibilities and functions of the position**
* Monitor and record residents' vital signs and weight, performing clinical follow-up together with auxiliary staff.
* Administer medication prescribed by the medical team, coordinating preparation and distribution with auxiliary or pharmacy personnel, and supervising correct intake together with supervision and caregivers.
* Apply topical treatments, perform dressings and nursing procedures such as venous access placement, insertion and changing of catheters or ostomy bags, glucose monitoring, and administration of medication via subcutaneous, intravenous, or intramuscular routes.
* Detect and respond to potential medical emergencies, applying established protocols and effectively and safely mobilizing necessary resources.
* Provide health and care education to both family members and center staff, promoting good practices and healthy habits.
* Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, providing relevant information on residents' clinical status.
